Rooted in global best practices in early literacy, the programme integrates systematic synthetic phonics within a Balanced Literacy framework along with Panchkosha-based development.
Children are introduced to reading and writing through the letter sounds of English. They are guided to blend sounds to read new words—for example c-a-t becomes cat.
They also learn to segment words into individual sounds in order to spell unfamiliar words.
Through this process children develop the ability to decode and encode unknown words confidently.
International Phonics is a unique multi-sensory early literacy programme that goes far beyond A, B, C. It blends head and heart intelligence helping children develop strong language skills while nurturing curiosity confidence and joy in learning.
